Tonni Tielens [single solution]
Ever since I was a kid, I've been passionate about programming. I started with BASIC on my first MSX, and have since designed and programmed large systems in various programming languages. I prefer modern languages that mix functional and object-oriented programming, such as C++, C#, Java, Kotlin, and Rust. However, I'm language-agnostic and always ready to learn new programming languages.
My experience spans embedded systems and full-stack app development, with a stronger interest in backends. I've worked on projects from embedded systems in C++ to full-stack web applications in TypeScript and Python.
While my primary focus is software engineering and design, I early on discovered the importance of the organizational and people aspects of software development. I'm passionate about agile methodologies and helping others become more agile. I also enjoy teaching and aim to inspire others about programming languages and paradigms.
Over the past 20 years, I've taken on varied roles, from full-time programmer to software architect, ScrumMaster, tech lead, and people manager. As an independent software developer, I cherish the freedom to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Building software with motivated people is what makes me happiest.

Coding
Ever since I was a kid, I've loved playing with code, and that passion remains strong today. From figuring out problems to coming up with solutions, optimizing them, and ensuring they stay fit for the future, I enjoy every part of the process. I'm fortunate to have a career in programming, as it makes every day feel like a day in the playground.
Agile
I believe the best software systems are built in agile environments, and I have a strong interest in agile methodologies. I particularly appreciate frameworks like Scrum and approaches such as Continuous Integration and Delivery.
People
In addition to programming, I've always been passionate about the people aspect of software development. Whether it's helping individuals improve their skills or coaching teams and team leads to work more efficiently and effectively together, I find this aspect incredibly rewarding.
